The practice

A way of looking.
A way of remembering.

I am a Melbourne-based contemporary artist working with abstract form and the rich colour of soft pastel. My drawings explore the relationship between nature and inner experience — the feeling of a place, as much as the place itself.

Bodies of work

All bodies of work
Blue & Pink Shell. Clusters of pink, coral and pale circles meet a curving dark form.

At the Edge

These works explore the meeting places between land and water, solidity and movement, presence and absence. Forms emerge at the edge of recognition, drawn from observations of the natural world and transformed through colour, rhythm and abstraction.

Pod Stories I. Coral pod-like forms and pale circles emerge from a deep blue ground.

Unfolding Forms

Botanical forms become a starting point for exploring transformation, structure and perception. Flowers, leaves and pods are observed, deconstructed and reimagined through colour, line and layered form.

Solo exhibition at Eltham Picture Framing

–

Eltham Picture Framing, Eltham Town Mall, Unit 20/10-18 Arthur St, Eltham VIC 3095

An exhibition of abstracted landscapes. Opening night Thursday 15 October 2026, 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

This collection of artworks seeks to evoke the experience of being in a place, of noticing, connecting and finding meaning in what is often overlooked. They are abstracted landscapes, pared back to essential forms: line, shape, colour and rhythm. Each element is carefully arranged so that relationships emerge and the eye is invited to move through and beyond the picture. Every work extends to the edge of the canvas: the edge is not a boundary but a place of possibility, where life continues beyond what we can see.

The exhibition includes special 3D works, with thanks to Melissa Thomas, Natural Inspirations.
